A tough week over at lake Šumbar in Croatia finished off with a massive high for Rich Jennings. Only managing one small carp all week, with one night left a change of plan was in order. A single yellow ‘365 Decade Special’ wafter places amongst free offerings of mixed particle.
“After a very slow week I eventually saw that fish had moved into a bay to my right, but for 6 days I couldn’t get a bait in that area due to two Dutch guys fishing the bay. Luckily for me they packed up in the dark in the early hours of Saturday morning. On first light I searched the area for a likely spot and found a nice area literally 2 rod lengths from the margin. I placed a bait there around 9am on the Saturday morning and at 1.15am on the Sunday morning of our departure I got two bleeps as the bobbin lifted and sat tight. This beauty was the result. Well worth the wait” said Rich.
