Having walked the venue before the draw, Ben had his heart set on peg 9, a peg that often gets over looked, but he had a plan!
That plan certainly paid off. Fishing no more than fifteen yards out down a margin, Ben regularly had fish visiting his spot for a feed.
On only his second full day, what happened next blew his mind. He went on to land the biggest fish in French venue. A whopping 68lbs of pure bruiser, how’s that for your first time fishing in France!
