Having received a message off Robert Hinkins around dinner time on Friday saying he had just slipped back a 24lbs and 31lbs carp, it seemed something special was about to happen. No further message though out the weekend then a phone call today came out of the blue, with a very excitable Mr Hinkins on the other end! Rob went on to say he had ‘Your Mrs’… repeating I’ve had ‘Your Mrs’ the fish out of munch… relief! At 47.10lbs, what a fantastic carp to finish winter off with.
Rob used the new Vita-lac corkdust wafters for the first time, presented amongst Vita-lac boilie, pellet and maggots that had seen a good helping of both the matching liquid food and Hot Shrimp Oil!
