It’s fair to say that our very own chief brew maker Mick Hardwick has seriously got the bug for fishing at present. This year see’s Mick on a local estate lake at Wentworth in South Yorkshire, where he is catching consistently the bigger residents. His latest capture saw him bank one know as the ‘Slope head Common’ on his usual mix.
Mick has been using a combination of both 15mm ‘The Formula + Arctic Crab’ boilie with 14mm matching pellets. All of which has seen a glazing of ‘Hot Shrimp Oil’ and a coating of ‘Maxi-Mussel’ feed stimulant powder.
