I have mainly focused my Angling this year on fishing over the Channel on Belgium & French soil.
Throughout the year, I have been very fortunate to have had many trips exploring and fishing some incredible waterways that overseas fishing offers.
Since my first trip back early in the year, it definitely got the fire burning and after a successful trip as “The Mighty Duo”, I couldn’t wait to get back on that train for another adventure. Working Five months of the year definitely suits and it allows me to do the style of angling that I enjoy.
I have spent pretty much a full year on and off and I have definitely spent the best months out there, including Spring, Summer & Autumn.
I joined RG later on in the year, but it didn’t take me long to put a few special fish in the album and there were definitely a few sort after carp amongst the bunch.
Looking back throughout the year, I must say it’s been one that I will always remember and I got to share the ups, downs and definitely the laughs with the other half of the duo.
The bait of choice for me was a combination of The Formula + Arctic Crab, chopped and whole tigers with a good lashing of The Formula + Arctic Crab Liquid Food to complete the mix. This went everywhere with me over the months and it’s safe to say it was a winning combination.
A little recap on this year’s endeavours, but there’s one thing I can’t wait for and that’s to see what next year has to offer. We have some big plans to achieve and even bigger carp to catch.
The main things is enjoy your angling, take nothing but photos, kill nothing but time and tread your own paths.
