The Formula Red + Plum

The Formula Red + Plum, saw us add Robin Red and NI Plum flavour to our flagship basemix, this was for a select few customer way back when, with the addition of these two ingredients, more and more ears started to prick up and take of the amount of captures it was producing for the minority that were using it. Due to popular demand, we had no choice but to produce the bait for the masses and bring out the full range of products that included these additional ingredients . The basemix is the out and out The Formula fishmeal mix, which certainly brings the old school feel to a new age. Created by a perfect blend of excellent nutritional, digestible and palatable ingredients, sourced from what we believe to be the highest quality suppliers from around the world. “The Formula” recipe contains a blend of three high quality fishmeals, Antarctic Krill meal, Pre-digested fishmeal, natural kelp extract, mixed cereals and bird seed, crushed oyster shell, a combination of three milk powders are introduced and all bind together by vegetable proteins. This is then finished off by adding optimum levels of something special in the form of what we like to call ‘The Formula’ powder, a highly attractable feeding stimulant used extensively in the pet industry and Haiths Robin Red which not only enhances taste, but gives the bait a rich red finish.

This predominantly fishmeal based bait, has a pungent “Sweet Fruity” aroma and is emphasised through the inclusion of “The Formula Red + Plum” liquid food, a combination of Fish hydroslate, pre-digested liver liquid and the sweet aroma of the NI Plum flavour enhancer. This liquid food is high in protein, has a balanced amino profile and boasts excellent water solubility to aid leakage, proving to be an irresistible feed stimulant and attractor to our chosen quarry.

In the formula Red + Plum range we have both freezer and stabilised baits, in sizes 12s, 15s, 18s and barrels. Also in the range are Cork dust pop-ups, wafters and hardened Enhanced hookbaits, bait sprays and bait soaks, liquid foods, pellets and stick mixes.
