Covid – 19 A statement from RG Baits – 18th April 2020

As the world continues to come to terms with the best measures to tackle the coronavirus (COVID-19) we here at RG Baits wish to assure you that we are taking every precaution to ensure the service we provide is inline with government guidelines and ensures the health and safety of our customers, employees and their families.

As of Monday the 20th of April, internet and phone orders will resume but the factory will remain closed to the public. RG Director Greg Myles will be solely working in the premises to ensure orders are fulfilled, stock levels are maintained and rolled baits are made for the fisheries that are continuing to feed there fish through this period of time. This will continue until the government believe it is safe for us to return back to normality.

How can I place an order? Will my delivery arrive?

Orders can either be placed using our online store or over the phone by contacting 01709 878281.

Here at RG Baits we pride ourselves on our customer service and short lead times, this being, once your orders is placed we aim for it to arrive with you between three to five working days later. We are partnered with the courier service ParcelForce and rely on the fantastic work they are doing in this tricky time.

What are RG Baits doing to ensure the safety of its colleagues?

RG HQ remains closed to both public and staff other than Greg Myles the RG Baits sole director  – We have hygiene protocols in place and these measures have been heightened during this period and will continue to be monitored and adjusted inline with Public Health England and Government guidance.

Is it possible to reduce contact with the  delivery driver when they deliver my parcel?

Yes. RG Baits delivery associates ParcelForce have been advised to reduce contact with customers, this may include placing packages at the customer’s doorstep and stepping back. If an ID check is required, which is usually the case with ParcelForce, the driver will complete the check at a distance. They will not be handing over our hand-held devices to customers to capture electronic signatures. Drivers will instead log the first and last name of the person accepting the item, then put ‘XP1’ in the signature field, and we will record the geolocation of the delivery.  This will apply to all deliveries that normally require a signature.

Thankyou and stay safe.
