What is the best way to prepare your freezer baits ready for your next session?

The way in which I like to prepare my freezer baits in readiness for my next session is as follows. I am mainly a weekend angler like many of us so my session usually starts between 2pm and 5pm on a Friday. With that in mind, I like to take my baits out of the freezer around 24 hours before my session starts, this is usually done when I arrive home from work. I place the bag of baits flat on my garage floor and leave for around four to five hours, just before I go to bed I  flip the bag completely over and leave over night. I believe by doing this the baits within the bag are fully defrosted but also by leaving them in the bag they are allowed to soak up all the juices and dry naturally.

When I am off fishing I like to place my baits either in a cool bag in the warmer months or in the colder months I place my bag of bait under the bed chair or at the back of the bivvy.

It is very rare that I air dry my baits, I believe by air drying your boilies, you are losing a lot of the bait effectiveness in terms of the attraction that they release. Secondly I believe by air drying baits they will be prone to taking on the smell of the lakes bottom far quicker and again loosing there attractiveness to the fish.
